Summit County, Colorado, sheriff election campaign poster for Robert Farris designed by Victor Abbo LLC. Features original artwork by highly acclaimed Native American artist Earl Biss. Biss's painting depicts Farris as sheriff leading a group of men on horses through a high mountain pass near Breckenridge, the Summit County seat. This poster helped Sheriff "Bob" win his re-election bid in 1979; he was the first Black man to be elected to a Colorado county. He was sheriff from 1975 through 1983.
