A skier is airborne after launching off a snow cornice (overhanging edge of snow on a ridge) on Peak 8 of the Breckenridge ski area in Colorado. The skier is wearing a black or dark blue wool ski sweater over a white turtleneck and blue wool ski pants. Holding metal ski poles, his arms are thrust behind him to achieve more momentum.

On Peak 8 of the Breckenridge ski area, a woman smiles as she reclines on her skis supported by the straps of her ski poles stuck upright in the snow. She is dressed in a yellow cable sweater, dark blue or black ski pants and black ski boots. Her white-framed sunglasses shield her eyes from the bright sun reflecting off the snow.

A woman wearing a red and white Nordic-patterned sweater and dark framed sunglasses is reclined on skis supported by ski poles stuck in very deep snow. Her long blonde hair is pulled into a low pony tail, covered with a headband. The photograph was probably taken somewhere on Boreas Pass, east of Breckenridge. In the background is a view of the ski runs on Peak 8 at the Breckenridge ski area in Colorado.
