The frame has a raised design of dragons. Tacked to the back of the frame is a small metal plaque engraved with "Made in Japan." Enclosed in the frame was a portrait photograph of Martha (Silverthorn) Finding, wife of Charles A. Finding and hidden behind this photograph was another portrait of an elderly Martha (Silverthorn) Finding.

Studio portrait photograph of an elderly Martha (Silverthorn) Finding wearing a woven hat adorned with roses, ribbon and metal brooch with small chain. Her dark bodice is constructed of an embroidered high-neck collar and vertical flat pleats and lacing down the front placket. The simple pleated shoulders are trimmed with fabric buttons. Circa 1880s-1900s

The man on the left wears a collared long sleeve shirt with suit vest over it. The other man wears a suit, his hat placed on the table next to him. A woman sitting at another desk leafs through papers. Hanging on an electric light bulb is a wall calendar dated 1911. Handwritten on the reverse: "C.A. Finding 507 RR Buldg 1515 Larimer."

A sign hung on the window of the former Silverthorne Hotel with the words: "Formerly The Silverthorne Hotel - Established 1862 - Nationally Known Famous People Stopped At This Old Mountain Inn - Be one of them - Come In - You're Welcome - Rest Room - Wash Room." The building that housed the Silverthorne (or Silverthorn) Hotel stood from 1862 to 1957, when it was demolished. It was located on the west side of Main Street in Breckenridge, Colorado.

Train stopped on its tracks blocked by snow from a snowslide or avalanche in the Ten Mile Canyon. The Ten Mile Creek runs through the canyon along the railroad bed. Handwritten on the reverse "Train from in [illegible] Saturday morning. There was a couple feet of snow over the top of the rear coach." Circa early 1900s.
