UnidentifiedJ. Frank Willis gave this souvenir album as a gift to his sister, Pauline (Willis) Merritt. The album contains photographs by Breckenridge photographer Otto Westerman. Various subjects include town views, mine site landscapes, railroad tracks through gulches and Willis' property on Gibson Hill. Some are of the Ten Mile Canyon outside of Frisco, Colorado, and one photograph is of Tom's Baby (the largest piece of wire gold found in Colorado).

Outside, Willis holds his bicycle by the handle as he props his left foot on the bike pedal. A second bike leans against a tree by a dirt path. He wears a cap, coat, and knickers with stockings.

Westerman, OttoJames W. Swisher reclines in an upholstered chair to read the newspaper in his home in Breckenridge, Colorado. The wallpapered room is decorated with framed pictures, potted houseplants, and a bookcase crowded with books and more plants. A draped curtained doorway leads to another room in the house. Circa 1888-1910.

UnidentifiedAbandoned mine structures at the Jessie Mine and Mill site in Gold Run Gulch north of Breckenridge, Colorado. The Jessie operated from 1885 into the 1930s and was one of the largest gold, silver and lead mine and mill complexes in the Breckenridge area.

UnidentifiedPostcards and photographic material created by photographer John Albert Topolnicki Sr. featuring the Colorado natural landscape, mountains, abandoned mine sites, ski areas and similar subjects. His photographs are considered the best historical record of Breckenridge Ski Resort and Summit County, Colorado landscapes in the early 1960s-1970s.

Topolnicki, Sr. photographed Colorado backcountry scenes, abandoned mine sites and views of early Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin, Keystone and Steamboat Springs ski resorts. He turned his photographs into postcards and posters for sale to tourists.
