Built in 1971 on the west side of Main Street, the Bell Tower Mall (pictured left) was a 45,000 square foot building with a pyramid hip roof. It was demolished in 2002 to make way for a mixed-use mall called Main Street Station. The buildings opposite the Bell Tower, across Main Street, are the Tannhauser Condos, first built in 1972 (building 1). Building 2 was constructed in 1974.

The Bergenhof restaurant opened the day before the first official opening of the ski area on December 16, with a party to mark the start of the 1961 season. It was one of three original buildings that made up the Peak 8 base area facilities. It was demolished in 2013. The facility on the right is the ski lift terminal for Chairlift 1.
