Poster promoting the 1984 Michelin World Freestyle Invitational and Hawaiian Tropic Celebrity Pro-Am held in Breckenridge, Colorado, on January 18-21. Presented by Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center and other sponsors, the event was held to benefit the Special Olympics, U.S. Freestyle Ski Team, and local charities. The featured celebrity was Suzy Chaffee, a former Olympic alpine ski racer and 1970s freestyle ballet skier.

Poster for the 1985 Colorado Pro Mogul Tour presented by Professional Mogul Classics Inc. (PMC). Ski events took place in Vail, Aspen Highlands, Arapahoe Basin, Loveland, and Breckenridge ski resorts. The Breckenridge event was held March 24 on Mach 1 at the Breckenridge Ski Resort. The winner of all six events became the 1985 National Champion and received a $7,000 prize. Poster features a photograph of an unidentified professional skier by Rex Keep; poster art by Nutthaus Design.

Postcards and photographic material created by photographer John Albert Topolnicki Sr. featuring the Colorado natural landscape, mountains, abandoned mine sites, ski areas and similar subjects. His photographs are considered the best historical record of Breckenridge Ski Resort and Summit County, Colorado landscapes in the early 1960s-1970s.

Skiers slide down the slopes to the Bergenhof Bar and Restaurant. The restaurant opened the day before the first official opening of the Breckenridge ski area on December 16, with a party to mark the start of the 1961 season. It was one of three original buildings that made up the Peak 8 base area facilities. It was demolished in 2013.

Skiers in line for the chairlifts at the Peak 8 base area of the Breckenridge ski resort. In the foreground is the ski area's original lift, a Heron Double chairlift, named Chairlift 1. Next is a platter pull type lift, Poma 1 (also called B-100). In the background is Chairlift 5. Chairlift 5 was installed for the 1970-1971 season and was considered the fastest lift at the resort at that time.

A skier stops to enjoy the view from above the terminus of a chairlift, probably Chairlift 1 on Peak 8 of the Breckenridge ski area in Colorado. Chairlift 1 started at the base of Peak 8, near the Bergenhof Restaurant, and went up the slope to a point about 500 feet above tree line or timberline.

Two skiers under Chairlift 2 midway on Peak 8 of the Breckenridge ski resort in Colorado. Spruce Run at right. Chairlift 2, a Heron double lift, was installed for the 1965-1966 ski season. It ascended over Callie's Alley Run to the top of Peak 8. It was retired in 1997 when Rocky Mountain Chair was built.

Rounder's Run, a ski trail on Peak 8 of the Breckenridge ski area in Colorado. Rounder's was named after the resort's first developer, Bill Rounds (nicknamed Rounder). It was one of five original ski trails when the resort opened in 1961. Rounder's Run was rated expert or advanced due to its challenging terrain.
