Interview with Nick and Mary Logan conducted 2019-04-26. Nick first came to Breckenridge in 1968 at 20 years old. He started working with Trygve Berge at Berge's ski shop. Mary came to Breckenridge in January 1973 after teaching skiing at Eldora. She quickly began working for the ski school in Breckenridge. She then became a ski patroller.

He got into town on July 4, 1976, and then went skiing at Fourth of July Bowl. Barrett briefly moved back to Philadelphia before again hitchhiking back to Breckenridge in 1977.

In 1966 a propane leak at the Ullr Holm caused an explosion resulting in the death of one man and injuring 12 others.
