"Entrance to the ten Mile Canon at Frisco."

Beginning of the railroad grade through snowy Ten Mile Canyon at Frisco, Colorado. To the left (southeast) of the narrow gauge track is a large stack of lumber or railroad ties. Opposite are utility poles. Title quoted from handwritten caption on card mount: "Entrance to the ten Mile Canon [sic] at Frisco."

People and the Bucyrus No. 4 dredge on the Swan River, east of Breckenrige

A well-dressed man, woman, and boy stand on lumber scattered on the side of the Swan River, overlooking Bucyrus No. 4 dredge. Behind the boy is a large stack of wood for the dredge's boiler. Excavated rocks and boulders line the opposite side of the river, following the dredging route. In the background are tree-covered hills. Circa early 1900s.
