Scope and content

Color transparencies of Breckenridge and Summit County, Colorado. Other areas include: Boulder County, Chaffee, Clear Creek, Eagle, El Paso, Fremont, Garfield, Grand, Gunnison, Lake, Larimer, Mesa, Mineral, Ouray, Park, Pitkin, Routt, San Juan, San Miguel, and Weld. Topolnicki also photographed landscape views in National Parks: Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Colorado National Monument National Park, Four Corners, Garden of the Gods, Great Sand Dunes National Park, Mesa Verde National Park, Pike's Peak and Rocky Mountain National Park.

System of arrangement

Items are arranged by area/county using what may have have been Topolnicki's original labeling system: the first letter(s) of the area/county followed by an ascending number, written on a small white label adhered to a plastic enclosure. For preservation purposes, transparencies were removed from the plastic enclosures and placed into individual paper enclosures.
