Scope and content
The Spruce Creek ditch is under construction as part of the Gold Pan Mining Company's hydraulic mining operations south of Breckenridge. Standing trees had to be cleared with dynamite, and men worked with shovels to remove rocks and dirt from the ditch's right of way. Log cribbing was built to support the ditch along the steep mountainside.
