Abandoned buildings at the Extenuate Mine (also known as X10U8) and mine dump. The Extenuate was part of the extensive Wellington Mine and Mill properties in French Gulch east of Breckenridge, Colorado.

A wagon pulled by two horses is stopped on the dirt road that runs under the tracks. Mine tailings are piled high on either side of the road.
