Tiger No.1 dredge on the Blue River just north of Breckenridge, Colorado. Circa 1933, probably before the boat was rebuilt and new machinery installed. The dredge moved within town limits, from the north to the south boundary. Buildings in the path of the dredge had to be demolished or moved.

A day earlier the 300-ton bucket line dropped while crews were doing repair work, causing the dredge to twist and resulting in a crack in the hull. The dredge was raised and repaired, and operations resumed April 11, 1938. Town buildings can be seen in the background, including Masonic Lodge No. 47 (pictured center, facing west) on the corner of Main Street and Washington Avenue. The dome or cupola of the Summit County Courthouse on Lincoln Avenue is also in view.
