              A boy and girl stand outside to pose for a picture. The boy is dressed in the Fauntleroy style that was popular in the 1880s. He wears a wide-brimmed hat over his blonde, ringlet curls, a wide ruffled collar blouse with a bow and puffed sleeves, and striped, knee-length pants over black stockings. The girl wears a bonnet tied under her chin and a white pinafore dress over black stockings.

              A young girl stands next to a toy chalkboard on an easel and pretends to teach the alphabet to her dolls seated in small rocking chairs. Behind her is a child's slant-top desk with shelves filled with miniature doll furniture. The carpeted room also has a parlor organ or piano, a covered piano stool, a tall sideboard, and a parlor stove.

              Alice Kaiser drives her sisters, Ida and June, and friends in a 1914 Dodge sedan down Ridge Street in Breckenridge, Colorado. Handwritten caption on the reverse: "'Sophisticates and Myrtle Bridge - 1936", "Carl Kaiser house on left - Chris Kaiser house on right" and "Alice Sandefer driving 'her' car". Alice, Ida and June were the daughters of Carl and Esther Kaiser, and granddaughters of Chris and Ida Kaiser. Note: Carl an Esther Kaiser's house is often referred to as the "Ladybug House".

              Young Ella Foote, dressed in an overcoat, bonnet and scarf, uses a pole for balance and wooden skis to cross Main Street, Breckenridge, Colorado. During the "Big Snow" event of 1898-1899 heavy snowfall reached the second story of most buildings. In view is the false-front of R.C. McKillip Livery and the bell tower of Fireman's Hall. Left foreground shows part of the Denver Hotel's covered portico.

McKillip's Livery and Feed Store on the east side of Main Street in Breckenridge, Colorado. A horse drawn sleigh with passengers is stopped near the livery entry. The building with the bell tower is Fireman's Hall. Circa 1899.

              A man, woman and young girl look out the window opening of a horse-drawn passenger carriage or coach piloted by two coachmen. The covered-carriage is decorated with ribbon garland around the body and streamers woven through the four wheels. All are finely dressed; one coachmen wears a top hat. There is a mansion/large house in the background. It appears as though they are traveling in an urban area, possibly somewhere in Colorado.

              A girl and a boy pose with children sitting astride two burros stopped in the center of Main Street, Frisco, Colorado. The girl stands with her hand on her hip, holding one burro's bridle. The boy has his arm laid across the same burro's back. Wooden buildings and wooden boardwalks line either side of the dirt road. In the distance is the base of Mount Royal (left) and Mount Wichita (right). Title quoted from handwritten caption on card mount: "Frisco, an ideal village in the Mountains."

              Group portrait of all grades attending Breckenridge Public School in 1901. The students pose with their teachers in front of the 1882-built two-story frame building on Harris Street in Breckenridge, Colorado. A group of boys stand on top of the portico behind a sign with the words "Public School District No. 1". One student is identified: 3rd row, from the front, 7th person on the left is Roberta Klinesmith (married name Sharp). The schoolhouse was torn down and replaced with a brick structure in 1909.

              Standing in the snow outside a shed or garage, twelve-year-old June Kaiser smiles for the camera on January 23, 1943. June was the daughter of Carl and Esther Kaiser of Breckenridge, Colorado. She passed away on February 23, 1943, one month after this photograph was taken. Handwritten cation on the reverse: "June Francis Kaiser. Taken Jan 23rd 1943. Passed away Feb 23, 1943."
