Members of the St. John's Episcopal Church Ladies Glee Club are gathered around Agnes Miner, who is playing the upright piano. From left to right, the women are identified as Jennie Goddard, Effie Lawrence, Mrs. Patten, Lula Hogan, Ada Stewart, Hattie Moon, and Carrie Condon. The ladies are holding sheet music titled "Vocal Echoes." The room is decorated with lace and sheer curtains covering the windows, and a gilt-framed portrait of a man and a woman hanging over the piano. A mandolin, a seashell, a plate, and other portraits are displayed on top of the piano which is draped with a fringed, brocade coverlet. Additionally, a guitar is leaning against the piano.
